The Challenge:
A Web-based business that matches personnel with jobs in the private
aviation industry, asked us to rethink their logo—it communicated
aviation but not much else. Although its primary use would be on
the Web and company documents, the client also wanted a logo that
could be embroidered on clothing and hats.
The Solution:
An illustrated logo
[click hyperlinks to see next image] that emphasizes people, hearkening
back to the excitement and adventure of the golden age of aviation
in the 30’s and 40’s, while accurately representing
today’s aircraft. Its impact is maintained as a one-color
logo, for use on faxes and forms, by the simple removal of the
background colors. The business
card called for a two-color version.
The Result:
A logo with a strong graphic presence that connects the plane and
the crew in an exciting, positive way, and gives the company professional
visual appeal in a variety of applications. Return to initial image.
