The Challenge:
The Lincoln Heights HealthCare Connection (LHHCC) has provided quality
health care services to underserved populations in Hamilton County
since 1967. The building of a new facility offered the opportunity
for LHHCC to expand its health service capabilities and broaden
the definition of the term “underserved” to include
workers from local small businesses, the underinsured and uninsured
workers, and the growing Greater Cincinnati Hispanic population.
New and more focused marketing methods were needed to attract this
broader patient base, as well as new donors.
The Solution:
We embarked upon a corporate image redevelopment to create a corporate
identity that clearly captured the essence of the organization as
a whole while linking the satellite health centers to the corporate
organization.
Over several years, as the new facility was under construction and
as funds became available, the new corporate look was phased in.
Design elements were established early in a Community
Report, Services Brochures (English and Spanish), Fund-raising
Brochures, and events surrounding the ground-breaking and opening
of the new facility. Eventually the complete corporate image redevelopment
was implemented including a new identity
system that could be used alone or in conjunction with each
satellite facility location.
The Results:
The oneness of all three HealthCare Connection satellites is marketed
in a way that honors the rich LHHCC legacy, broadens public perception,
and positions the new HCC for possible growth into other Cincinnati
communities.
Materials produced by Photonics continue to be invaluable tools
in the effort to raise awareness of the HealthCare Connection in
the Cincinnati philanthropic community, thereby contributing to
the on-going success of their Capital Campaign. Nearly $1 million
has been raised so far, allowing for the establishment of a permanent
HCC Development Office to oversee future fund-raising efforts.
